Overview

Spray Foam Heaters

Two-component spray foam and polyurea are unforgiving about temperature. Too cold and the chemicals won't atomize, mix, or cure correctly — you get poor yield, off-ratio foam, and rejected work. The A and B drums need to be held at a consistent processing temperature.

AG Heat spray-foam heaters wrap the drums and totes in even, thermostatically controlled heat that brings both components to spray temperature and holds them there — for consistent, on-spec application in cold conditions.

Common Uses
  • Warming A and B spray-foam components to spray temperature
  • Holding polyurea and coating chemicals at processing temp
  • Restoring viscosity in cold drums before spraying
  • Consistent yield and cure in cold-weather application
  • Keeping rigs and drums ready in unheated storage

FAQ

Spray Foam Heaters — Common Questions

What do spray foam heaters keep warm?

Both components (ISO and resin) of two-part spray foam, plus the drums and hoses, held at the manufacturer's target reaction temperature.

Why is warming spray foam chemical so important?

Cold chemical is the number-one field problem in spray foam — it causes off-ratio reaction, poor yield and adhesion, and callbacks.
